As earlier reported that iOS 4.3.1 will fix iPad 2 jailbreak, Comex now has just confirmed that his iPad 2 jailbreak exploit is fixed in iOS 4.3.1 release by Apple. He assumes that must have leaked and also confirmed that the kernel exploit he used to jailbreak iPad 2 was same as one used in JailbreakMe 2.0 and it was never fixed properly earlier before iOS 4.3.1.

As noticed by @0naj, my kernel exploit was fixed in 4.3.1.
I try not to be paranoid, but it is really hard to explain this as anything but a leak.
The funny thing is that my “new” kernel exploit is actually the kernel exploit used by JailbreakMe 2.0. It was never properly fixed.
It was already rumored that iOS 4.3.1 will be fixing iPad 2 jailbreak but as Apple didn’t close the Pwn2Own hack in iOS 4.3.1, it was expected that iPad 2 exploits might also have been not fixed in it. Though Comex exploit is patched, we still hope the exploit will Chronic Dev Team to jailbreak iPad 2 still exists.
Just a recap, Comex has jailbroken iPad 2 with his JailbreakMe exploit which is now patched. The Chronic Dev Team is working on a iPad 2 jailbreak (SHAtter/ GreenPois0n) which is expected to be released soon. Currently, only we are left to wait for GeenPois0n to be released to jailbreak iPad 2.
We will provide more updates on jailbreak and unlock, just stay connected to us on Twitter or become a Facebook fan.
