Earlier, we posted a video released by Sherif Hashim which showed activation of iPhone 4, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS without the original SIM card. The activation process used phonebook SIM card which was blocked by Apple few days ago. The fix by Apple can now be bypassed easily with a patch. Here are the complete steps to activate iPhone 4 without original SIM card.
Activate iPhone 4, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS without original SIM card:
Step 1: first you need to buy PhoneBook Card from DITS online store at nearly cost of 7 € or you can try at eBay.
Step 2: Upgrade your iPhone to iOS 4.0.1 firmware and activate your iPhone with purchased PhoneBook Card by inserting it as a normal SIM. The iPhone will be temporarily activated and on removal of the Card the iPhone will stop again.
Step 3: Now you have to Jailbreak your iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS or iPhone 3G with JailbreakMe.
Step 4: After iPhone is Jailbroken, open Cydia and download Hacktivation Patch from the following repositories http://cydia.pushfix.info/
Step 5: Reboot your iPhone and download ultrasn0w 1.0-1 to unlock the baseband of your iPhone.
Now, your iPhone is successfully activated and unlocked.
