Apple has released iOS 4 Beta for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G and iPod touch and is available for download. In the press conference held by Apple, Apple promised to fix the antenna issue in iOS 4.1 release. Here is the list of updates in iOS 4.1 beta.

Feature list of iOS 4 Beta:
- The size of new iOS 4.1 firmware is 595 MB for iPhone 4 and 383 MB for iPhone 3GS and the build no. for iOS 4.1 is 8B5080c
- The latest firmware is updated from 02.07.01 baseband to 01.59.00
- The new signal bars are taller than the earlier ones, as Apple detected the signal bar calculation formula was wrong in the iOS 4.0.

- Game center is revamped and given a new look.

- Now favorites can be added to FaceTime and Voice call.

- Option added to turn off Spell check through keyboard preferences.

- Camera Switch and rotates automatically in landscape mode.

It was also rumored that digital watermark is added by Apple to detect jailbroken devices. The watermark works with an encryption technology which will check if the device is jailbroken and adds a watermark .This watermark will not be removed anyhow if the jailbreak is uninstalled even. This will help Apple store employees at the time of service to detect that iPhone was jailbroken.
However, MuscleNerd have stated that the “watermark” rumors are untrue.
