According to the latest report from BGR, Apple is releasing iOS 4.3.1 firmware update within next two weeks which will be patch the vulnerability used to jailbreak iPad 2 on iOS 4.3. The update will also include other security fixes with minor bug fixes.

iOS 4.3.1 Change Log:
- Baseband updates for the 3GS and iPad (original)
- Fixed memory hang that results in memory corruption when reading large
- files from USIM file system
- Fixed problem with NTLM authentication in apps and on websites
- Fixed issue with the Springboard and 3rd party apps not recognizing the gyroscope on the iPad 2
- Fixed iPad 2 jailbreak vulnerability
However, in the Pwn2Own contest, iPhone 4 on iOS 4.2.1 was hacked with mobile safari vulnerability which is still open in iOS 4.3, but due to ASLR (Address Space Layout Randomization) used in iOS 4.3, there should be an new way discovered to bypass this ASLR to jailbreak iOS 4.3. The exploit was communicated to Apple and it was rumored that iOS 4.2.1 will be released soon to patch this.
On the other hand, Comex has also jailbroken iPad 2 with his new userland exploit and another bootrom exploit for iPad 2 is also under works. However, there is no clear information which all vulnerabilities will Apple be patching in iOS 4.3.1.
