iPhone 4 Free Invisible Strips Program(“invisibleSHIELD 4FIX”) started @Best Buy, Save $9.99 HURRY!

by Jenny Lewis on July 29, 2010

Best buy is also helping their customers in fixing the Antennagate issue by providing free invisibleSHIELD 4FIX from ZAGG with free installation to solve the problem of the antenna issue. However, the scheme is only for the iPhone 4 users who have bought the iPhone 4 from Best Buy and for their new iPhone 4 customers. The existing customers have to just go to their nearest Best Buy store and tell them about the antenna issue and dropping signal strength and you will get antenna invisibleSHIELD with installation for free.

Here is the official statement for the offer:

“This program will be available free of charge, including installation, to anyone who purchased or will purchase an iPhone 4 from Best Buy and will be extended to all existing Reward Zone customers. The solution will also be available to the general public for the retail price $9.99, including installation”

The invisibleSHIELD kit contains adhesive strips that cover only the surface of the stainless steel band around the edge of the iPhone.

The offer at best buy is an alternate offer from Apple in which Apple is giving Free Bumper or Cases to their customers. Apple has also started refunding the bumpers purchased by iPhone 4 customers in the press conference about the antennagate issue. It was also rumored that much awaited White iPhone 4 is also delayed due to antennagate issue. However, there are other rumors also for the delay.

There a number of options available for customers in their plate. If you like to cover your iPhone using invisible shield instead of any case, this offer is best for you.

What a load of crap, it's a piece of plastic. And exactly how long will it remain stuck to the side of the phone before having been brushed off when retrieving the phone from either a bag or pocket. Are they going to re-supply the kit every time a piece has come off the phone.
