Excitement booms as the Apple event is coming closer and closer. Blogs are flooded with articulations and leaked pieces of information which Apple will unveil in the event. New images of cases from a Chinese site of 6th Generation iPod Nano indicate that the device will be square in shape with 3 cm by 3 cm display size. iPod Nano cases images are along with images of cases of iPod touch 4G which is also expected to be launched in the event on September 1.
The alleged images of the iPod nano 6G shows it be similar to iPod Shuffle (Apple’s smallest media player) rather than current- generation iPod nano with 30-pin dock connector to be compatible with the existing iPod accessory ecosystem. The volume control buttons appears in the side in the cases and it also shows an open strip on the back which can be for a built-in clip or camera. The dock connector and headphone port seems in the bottom. It is also rumored to be touchscreen.
Besides iPod Nano Apple is also planning to release iPod touch 4G version which will offer 3G cellular data access after the success of iPad on 3G. iPod Touch 4G will also be featuring 2 cameras, one front for FaceTime and one rear with Retina display, A4 processor, improved battery support and Gyroscope. As reported earlier the design of the back of the iPod Touch is also given a new shell design similar to first generation iPod Touch instead of being flat as in iPhone 4, iPod Touch 3G / 2G.
All these expectations will be unveiled in just 4 days. Let’s wait and watch what Apple more comes in hand which is still revealed.
