P0sixninja has confirmed that the Chronic Dev Team is holding an exploit to jailbreak iPad 2 iOS 4.3 and working on it along with unlock iPhone 4. P0sixninja has confirmed that they will be release GreenPois0n to jailbreak iPad 2 iOS 4.3 very soon.

Few days back, P0sixninja has posted SHA hash publically, now he has confirmed that those keys were for iPad 2 jailbreak. It is anticipated that Chronic Dev Team has made SHAtter exploit work for iOS 4.3.
@p0sixninja To clear things up, the hash I posted a few days ago wasn’t unlock related, it was iPad2 jailbreak related
However, it is not yet disclosed that they are having a bootrom exploit or the userland exploit. But Comex once tweeted that there is already a bootrom exploit with someone under works for iPad 2. Did “someone” he referred in the tweet indicate “Chronic Dev Team”?
Just a heads up, SHAtter exploit was preserved by the Chronic Dev team after the release of Limera1n by Geohot and they used Limera1n in GreenPois0n tool. However, in early testing of iOS 4.3 it was patched by Apple in March 2010, but it seems that Chronic Dev Team might have found a way to get SHAtter exploit to work on A5-based iPad 2 to include in Greenpois0n update.
Apart from this, Comex from iPhone Dev Team, has already jailbroken iPad 2 with his new userland untethered exploit. He has confirmed to release this expliot (JailbreakMe 3.0) for iPad 2.
