After the natural disasters by earthquake and tsunami in Japan, Softbank CEO Masayoshi Son has announced to provide free phones to all orphaned children with all call costs up to an age of 18 including free replacement to all lost or damaged iPhones.

Softbank founder and CEO Masayoshi Son took the decision when he visited Tamura, one of the most affected city by Fukushima nuclear disaster. During the trip, Son announced to that Softbank will will cover a year’s worth of living costs and also provide job positions for the 1,200 people to be relocated to Takeo in Saga.
That was not all, when one of his followers, suggested him via twitter to provide free phone credit for limited time to stay connected with their family, he retreated and announced to provide free phones to all orphans victims with no other costs until the age of 18 followed by free replacement for damaged iPhones. Additionally, Son is using his Softbank’s “Let’s Do It” campaign site to support earthquake victims.
This is quite aggressive and inspirational move showing greatness towards humanity. Earlier, Apple has collected donations for Japan victims. Hope more people and big companies come forward to contribute in reestablishing the victims of the natural disaster. For more just stay connected to us on Twitter or become a Facebook fan.
