Step 1: Using iTunes take back up of all your files like Contacts, Calendars, Photos, Videos and Apps.
Step 2: Make sure that iTunes 9.2.1 is installed on your idevice.
Step 3: Now, go to www.jailbreakme.com using Safari browser from your device and wait until the complete page loads.
Step 4: You will see “Slide to jailbreak” option on the screen. Start this process as this will start downloading the data necessary for execution on your iPhone.
Step 5: After downloading the files, the jailbreak process will start automatically.
Step 6: Wait for few seconds until the jailbreak is in progress and you will see “Jailbreaking Sit Tight” appearing on the screen. Once the process is complete you will see a popup showing “Cydia has been added to the home screen” message.
Step 7: Cydia icon on springboard was added. Close the browser and check the spring board for the Cydia icon.
